I. Scholarship Content and Standards

1. Scholarship content

(1) Full scholarship: Tuition, accommodation, insurance and living expenses are waived.

(2) Partial scholarships: Tuition and insurance fees are waived.

2. The standard for living expenses is

Undergraduate students: 2,500 RMB per month

Master's degree candidates and regular visiting students: 3,000 RMB per month

Master's Program: 1. Legal Theory; 2. Constitutional Law and Administrative Law 3. Criminal Law 4. Civil and Commercial Law 5. Procedural Law 6. Economic Law 7. Environmental and Resources Protection Law 8. International Law 9. International Politics and International Relations.

Iii. Applicant Qualifications

Undergraduate applicants: Non-Chinese citizens aged 18 to 30 with a high school education or above.

2. Master' s degree applicants: Non-Chinese citizens aged 18 to 45, with a bachelor's degree or above.

Iv. Application Date

From February 10th to June 30th every year.

V. Application Process and Channels

1. Apply on the "Study in Shanghai" website and submit relevant materials;

2. Applicants should send the application form and relevant application materials to shupliso@126.com, and send the paper version of the materials to the Admissions and Project Development Section of the international exchange college (international Students Office), Shanghai University of political science and law.

3. The materials of the applicants will be reviewed. Those who pass the review will be confirmed and informed of the admission by the International Exchange College (International Students Office) via phone or email, and the admission notice and visa application form (JW202) will be sent out at the same time.

4. Applicants should bring their admission notice, JW202, physical examination health certificate and other relevant materials to the Chinese embassy or consulate in their home country to apply for a student visa and complete the registration on time.

Vi. Required Materials for Application

1. A complete application form for international student admission;

2. Certificates proving the applicant's highest academic qualifications. If the applicant is a student, a certificate from the applicant's university is required. Certificates that are not in Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English before notarization.

3. The highest academic degree transcript in Chinese or English;

4. Personal health examination certificate;

5. Students applying for postgraduate studies should provide a study and research plan in China of no less than 1,000 words, either in Chinese or English.

6. A copy of HSK Level 4 certificate or above;

7. A copy of the information page of the passport;

8. Eight passport-sized photos;

9. For those applying for postgraduate courses, two recommendation letters in both Chinese and English from professors or associate professors are required.

International students who are already studying in China are required to provide copies of their on-campus study certificates, departure certificates and temporary residence permits.
