Ningxia Medical University Ningxia Government Scholarship

To promote the development of international education in our school and encourage and attract more outstanding international students from various countries and at a higher level to study here, the school has established the Ningxia Autonomous Region Government Scholarship.

 

I. Reward Principles

The scholarship program is implemented in accordance with the principles of "fairness, impartiality and transparency" and is conducive to improving the quality, scale and level of international students in the selection and awarding process, with a focus on rewarding outstanding international students from new countries, high-level and countries along the "Belt and Road".

 

Ii. Reward Recipients

Outstanding master's and doctoral students studying in China who are both academically excellent and morally upright.

 

Iii. Scholarship Content and Standards

It is mainly used for applicants of master's and doctoral degrees. Among them: 69,800 yuan per person per year for master's degree candidates, with a total reward period of three years. Doctoral students will be awarded 80,800 yuan per year for a total of three years (including tuition fees, accommodation fees, comprehensive medical insurance fees and living expenses for the normal academic system. Among them, master's students will receive 2,500 yuan per month as living expenses, and doctoral students will receive 3,000 yuan per month).

 

Iv. Scholarship Application Requirements

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

2. Applicants must meet the educational and age requirements for admission: Those applying for a doctoral program must have obtained a master's degree and generally be no older than 40 years old. Applicants for a master's degree must have obtained a bachelor's degree and generally be no older than 35 years old.

3. Be friendly to China, abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as all the rules and regulations of the school;

4. Excellent academic performance and outstanding overall performance;

5. Not having received any other types of scholarship support simultaneously.

 

V. Review and Approval of Scholarships

International students should apply to the School of International Education from March to June each year in accordance with the scholarship application requirements.

2. The International Education College compiles the application information for various scholarships and conducts the initial evaluation in accordance with the following assessment criteria:

Scholarship applicants who have been admitted to our university for master's and doctoral degrees, with excellent academic performance in all subjects during their undergraduate and master's studies, and strong academic and research capabilities;

(2) For scholarship applicants who are already pursuing master's and doctoral degrees at our university, a comprehensive review of their academic performance, learning attitude, attendance, and behavioral conduct in the previous academic year will be conducted in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education's "Annual Review Measures for Scholarships for Foreign Graduate Students". Only those who pass the review can enjoy the scholarship for the next academic year.

 

Vi. Scholarship Distribution

The scholarship is awarded in October every year.

2. If a student fails to complete the registration procedures within the time limit set by the school due to personal reasons, the student's scholarship eligibility will be cancelled.

3. If an international student who has won the scholarship violates national laws and regulations, school rules and regulations, or is unable to continue their studies due to health or other reasons during the scholarship period, their scholarship eligibility will be cancelled or suspended.

Scholarships will no longer be awarded to international students who fail to graduate within the prescribed time.
