one Scholarship content and standards
Postgraduate students receive 20,000 yuan per academic year and undergraduate students 10,000 yuan per academic year. Non-degree students will be awarded a one-time reward of 5,000 yuan every six months.
two Applicant Qualifications
Citizens holding foreign nationality, friendly to China and in good health.
2. Comply with the laws and regulations of the Chinese government, perform well, and meet the admission requirements of the applied school.
3. Educational qualifications and age requirements for applicants: Applicants for undergraduate studies must have graduated from high school and generally be no older than 28 years old. To apply for a master's degree, one must have obtained a bachelor's degree and generally be no older than 35 years old. To apply for a doctoral program, one must have obtained a master's degree and generally be no older than 40 years old.
4. Foreign nationals who have obtained a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications and plan to further their studies or receive non-degree education for more than six months at relevant universities in our city.
5. The student has a correct learning attitude, no violation of school discipline and regulations, and excellent academic performance.
6. Has not received any other Chinese government scholarships.
7. One should have the corresponding level of Chinese proficiency and provide relevant certificates such as HSK certificates, other Chinese language learning and examination certificates, etc. For some majors that are directly taught in English, the conditions may be appropriately relaxed.

Five Materials required for application
1. Two copies of the "Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship Application Form for Foreign Students" should be filled out in either Chinese or English.
2. Notarized certificate of the highest academic degree/diploma. If the applicant is a current student, an additional proof of enrollment issued by the current school must be submitted. For non-Chinese and non-English versions, a notarized Chinese or English translation must be attached.
3. Academic transcript. For non-Chinese and non-English versions, a notarized Chinese or English translation must be attached.
4. Study or research plan in Nanjing. Please write in Chinese or English.
5. Those who plan to pursue a master's or doctoral degree must submit recommendation letters written by two professors or associate professors from their Alma mater, either in Chinese or English.
6. If the applicant has the corresponding proficiency in Chinese, they must submit copies of relevant materials such as HSK certificates and other certificates of Chinese language study and examination.
7. Copy of passport.
8. Health certificate.
All application materials submitted by the applicant will not be returned.
