The Foreign Student Scholarship of the Fujian Provincial Government mainly supports international students who are studying in universities in Fujian Province or are preparing to apply to study in universities in Fujian Province.

Admission category

All foreign doctoral, master's, undergraduate students and long-term visiting students who have studied for one semester or more in full-time regular institutions of higher learning in Fujian Province that recruit foreign students and are currently applying for or studying there.

Application time

Applicants should submit their applications to the project schools starting from May each year. The specific application time is determined by the schools.

Required materials

1. The school's recommendation application report, including the recommended list;

2. Application Form for the Fujian Provincial Government Scholarship Program for Foreign Students

3. Notarized highest academic degree certificate and academic transcript;

4. For those whose study period is six months or more (including six months), a "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners" (uniformly printed by the Chinese health and quarantine department) is required.

Applicants for a degree or further study should provide a study plan (no less than 400 words) or a research plan (no less than 800 words).

6. Applicants for art majors such as music and fine arts should submit their relevant works as required by the school.

Applicants under the age of 18 are required to submit relevant legal documents of their legal guardians in China.

All application materials submitted by the applicant will not be returned.
