Sino-foreign cooperative doctoral Program
Project content
Support doctoral students registered at foreign universities to study in China, conduct research and write doctoral dissertations.
Project time
Six months to two years.
Application qualification
Non-chinese citizens.
The score of the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) must reach level 3. Under the same conditions, those with outstanding Chinese proficiency will be given priority.
Those who are currently receiving the Chinese Government Scholarship cannot apply for this program at the same time.
Application materials
• Proof of being a doctoral student.
Two recommendation letters from experts in this field.
• HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) score report.
Master's thesis abstract or other research achievements.
• Personal Statement and Research Plan during Stay in China.
Those with recommendation letters from Confucius Institutes will be given priority for admission.
Application Procedures
Log in to ccsp.chinese.cn to submit the online application, and send the printed form and other materials to the headquarters of Confucius Institute.
"Review
The expert committee of the "Confucius New Sinology Project" will review the application materials and organize interviews.
Doctoral degree program in China
Project content
Funding foreign students to pursue a doctoral degree in China usually lasts for 3 to 4 years.
Application qualification
Non-chinese citizens.
The HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) must reach level 5. Under the same conditions, those with outstanding Chinese proficiency will be given priority.
Those who are currently receiving Chinese government scholarships are not eligible to apply for this program at the same time.
Application materials
One notarized copy each of the transcripts and degree certificates from the undergraduate and master's study periods, along with their Chinese translations.
Two recommendation letters from experts in this field.
• HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) score report.
Master's thesis abstracts and other research achievements.
Doctoral research program.

Disclaimer
1. Applications that are incomplete or do not meet the admission requirements will not be accepted.
If the application materials are found to be false or not filled out and submitted by the applicant himself/herself, the application qualification will be cancelled once verified.
If a winner is unable to report for duty due to any reason, they should inform the receiving institution in writing 15 days before the reporting date and state the reason. Those who fail to report without a valid reason will be disqualified from the scholarship.
4 Those who are ill should not be admitted to school in order to complete their studies smoothly.
