I. Admission Categories and Application Requirements

  The scholarship categories for recruitment are master's degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, bachelor's degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, one-year research students, one-semester research students and four-week research students. The recruitment targets are non-Chinese nationals, in good health, and generally aged between 16 and 35 (for in-service Chinese language teachers, the age limit can be relaxed to 45).

    Ii. Contents and Standards of Scholarship Assistance

    The Confucius Institute Scholarship covers the following expenses: registration fee, tuition fee, living expenses (except for four-week trainees and some scholarship recipients), accommodation and comprehensive medical insurance.

    Iii. Application Time

    Applicants can obtain the admission brochure for the following year from the International Students Admissions Office in December each year and submit all materials before June 15th.
